Volunteers

How do I become a volunteer with COVE?

  • The first step to volunteer with COVE is to come into our office and talk with the staff about your interest. Each volunteer must complete a 40-hour training.
  • Volunteers have a period of shadowing to become comfortable with the procedures and events of the COVE office.

What duties would I have as a volunteer?
  • As a COVE volunteer you would have many choices for helping victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking across Carbon County.
  • There are MANY opprotunities to volunteer with COVE. Everything from Crisis Line intervention, clerical duties, community education, creative support, client services, and distribution of information.
  • Any interest that you have, Carbon County COVE can use and apppreciate your talents.
  • We ask that each of our volunteers participate in some activity twice per month and more time is always welcome.
